A long time ago I lived in Nepal. The ground was stony and we could grow very little but there was a tough little flower with white petals that grew everywhere, even in the shadow of the stones. We called it old man's weed but I have no idea why.
Listen to your heart and not to what others around you are saying. They may see only the negative in a person when in fact what they are really seeing is a projection of their own fears. Look beyond first impressions and if you can catch sight of that same face when humour touches it you will be rewarded by a quick glimpse of the true soul that lives within. Walk soundly along the top of the road, bend down and see through the hedge into the world beyond - can you see clearly or is your view obscured?
Why then do you think you can clearly see the future that awaits? No corners have windows in them and no crossroads have a map - you must choose as your instinct tells you - you won't be wrong if you go without questionning. |
